Mozilla Thunderbird Setup

Open Thunderbird.

If this is a new installation of Thunderbird, the Account Wizard window should open. If not:

Make sure Email account is selected and click Next.

For Your Name, type in your name as you want people receiving your e-mails to see it.

In the Email address box type in your e-mail address. The email address follows the format username@bcpl.net, for example jdoe@bcpl.net

Click Next.

Make sure that POP3 is selected.

For the Incoming Server box, type in mail.bcpl.net.

For the Outgoing Server box, type in mail.bcpl.net.

Click Next.

Incoming User Name should already be filled in with your username.

Click Next.

Account Name should already be filled in with your email address.

Click Next.

If you are not connected to the internet, uncheck Download mesages now.

Click Finish.
