Using FTP with your BCPL.NET Account

What is FTP?

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It is a basically a method for computers to exchange files over the Internet. BCPL's UNIX server, mail.bcpl.net, has an FTP server built into it that allows BCPL.NET account holders with FTP client software to transfer files to their account.

While some people use this function to move specialized programs and files into their UNIX accounts, most people use FTP to post webpages to their BCPL.NET account.
