How to FTP using Internet ExplorerAn FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program, is a utility that allows you to transfer or copy files from your computer onto the Internet and vice versa. Internet Explorer versions 5.0 or later come with a built in FTP program that is very simple and effective. NOTE : You must be connected to the Internet before attempting to upload/download files.
You can now drag and drop files from your computer into the public_html folder on the server. Files can be deleted, renamed and moved within folders just like it can be done in Windows Explorer If you prefer to use an FTP program seperate from Internet Explorer, please see FTP in Windows. |
