Eudora Setup

This version of Eudora may differ from the below instructions but the basic setup will be the same for all versions of both Eudora Light and Eudora Pro.

After opening your version of Eudora, it may walk you through a Wizard and the information below will help guide you.

The menu bar in different versions of Eudora may have Options or Tools. Go to Tools and on the pull down menu you will find Options . Click on Options.

Under Category select Getting Started. In the box under POP account, type yourusername@mail.bcpl.net (note: This is not your Email address). Next click in the box labeled Real name, type your full name(John Doe, or The Doe Family or John or Jane Doe).
Under Connection Method, there should be a dot beside Winsock

Next click Personal Information under Category and type yourusername@bcpl.net in the Return address box.

Click Hosts under Category and in the SMTP box type mail.bcpl.net

Click Sending Mail under Category and in the Return address box type yourusername@bcpl.net

Click Auto Configure under Category and in the Server Name box type mail.bcpl.net. In the other two boxes(User Name & Password) type in your username & your password in the appropriate boxes.

Now Click the OK button.

This finishes the email configuration, log on to the Internet and open Eudora to get your email.
