Mail for OS X Setup
Mail is the default email program that comes with Mac OS X. To setup Mail so that you can access your BCPL.NET email account, follow these instructions.

Double click the Mail icon. (This will probably be in the Dock. If you do not see it there, look in the Applications folder in the Hard Drive folder.) |

Click Mail in the upper left-hand corner, then click Preferences. |
| Click Create Account. |  |

Account type should say POP Account.
Type BCPL in the box labeled Description. Type in your email address in the Email Address box. In the Full Name box, type in your name as you would like it to appear in emails you send. Host name should be mail.bcpl.net. User name should be your username. (Ex: jdoe) Password should be the the password used to login to BCPL. SMTP Host should be mail.bcpl.net. |
| Click the Account Options tab.
Put a check next to Delete messages on server after downloading. A POP Alert box will appear; click OK. Click OK again. |
