Mail for OS 10.3 Setup
Mail is the default email program that comes with Mac OS X. To setup Mail so that you can access your BCPL.NET email account, follow these instructions.

Double click the Mail icon. (This will probably be in the Dock. If you do not see it there, look in the Applications folder in the Hard Drive folder.) |

Click Mail in the upper left-hand corner, then click Preferences. |
| Click the + button at the bottom-left of the screen. | |
| Account type should be set to POP.
Type BCPL in the box labeled Description. Type in your email address in the Email Address box. In the Full Name box, type in your name as you would like it to appear in emails you send. Incoming mail server should be mail.bcpl.net. User name should be your username. (Ex: jdoe) Password should be the the password used to login to BCPL. Outgoing Mail Server should be mail.bcpl.net. (If it is not, click Add Server, type mail.bcpl.net in the Outgoing Mail Server, and click OK). When finished, click the red circle at the upper left of the screen and Save your changes. |
