Downloading Files Using Fetch
Fetch will list the contents of your home directory in a window.
Directories are designated using small folder icons, and documents are
shown as pieces of paper.
- If the file you wish to receive is in a subdirectory, double click on that
directory's icon to open it. Fetch will then list that directory's contents.
- When you find the correct file, click once on its icon to select it.
- If it is a text file, click on the the Text circle in the lower right
hand corner of the Fetch window.
- If the file is an image, sound, or other binary file, click in the Binary
circle.
- Click on the Get File... button to download the file.
The file will be saved to your computer's desktop.
