Fetch will list the contents of your home directory in a window. Directories are designated using small folder icons, and documents are shown as pieces of paper.
  1. Click on the subdirectory where you wish to place the file. Unless you specify the location, Fetch will upload the file to your home directory.
  2. If the file you wish to upload is a text file, click Text.
  3. If the file you wish to upload is a graphic, sound, or other non-text file, click Binary.
  4. Click Put File.
  5. A window will appear, listing files from your computer's hard drive. Select the file you wish to upload by double clicking on it.
  6. A dialog box will appear entitled Put File listing the file you chose. Make sure that under Format it lists Raw Data.
  7. Click OK to upload your file. It will appear in the main Fetch file list window.
