OS 8 and 9 Setup
If you would prefer to setup your account using the Mac's Internet Setup Assistant,
click here.

Click the Apple in the upper left-hand corner of your screen.
Select Control Panels.
Select TCP/IP.
Connect via: should be set to PPP.
Configure: should be set to Using PPP Server.
Close the TCP/IP window.
A dialog box will appear, asking if you would like to save changes. Click Save.

Click the Apple in the upper left-hand corner of your screen.
Select Control Panels.
Select Remote Access.
A Remote Access window will appear.
Type in your username in the box labeled Name.
Your username is the part of your email address before the @ symbol. Ex: jdoe.
In the box labeled Password, type in the password you were given by BCPL.
When you type in your password, all you will see are dots; this is normal.
In the Number box, type in 4102965500.
If you have Call Waiting, type *70, 4102965500.

Click the Options... button.
Make sure the Redialing tab is on top.
Change Redial to Redial main number only by clicking the double arrow
and selecting it from the list.
Input the number of times you would like it to redial; we suggest 10.
Click the Connection tab. |

| Make sure Disconnect if idle for 10 minutes is unchecked.
Nothing else should need to be modified on this page.
Click the Protocol tab. |

The first three items should be checked.
Connect to a command-line host should be unchecked.
Click OK. |

At this point, the BCPL connection should now be correctly configured. To connect,
click the Apple in the upper left-hand corner, click Control Panels,
click Remote Access, and then click Connect.
