Before you can change the connection setup on your 7.x machine, you will need to know the software your Mac uses to connect. To find out which software your Mac uses, do the following:
  • Click the Apple in the upper left corner of the screen.
  • Click Control Panels.
  • In the window that opens up, look for anything that has ppp in it.
    • If you have ConfigPPP, click here.
    • If you have FreePPP, click here.
    • If you have PPP, click here.
    • If you don't have anything with a PPP in it, you should have something called Remote Access. Click here for directions on changing the Remote Access setup.
