Windows 95/98 Instructions

NOTE: Please disconnect from BCPL before attempting to follow these instructions.
From the Desktop, double click My Computer. Double click Dial-Up Networking. |

Right-click BCPL (or whatever you have named the connection) and then left click Properties. |

Click the Configure button.
NOTE: Your modem name will probably be different than the one displayed. |

Click the Options tab. |

Uncheck Bring up terminal window after dialing.
The only thing that should now be checked is Display modem status. Click OK. Click on the Scripting tab. NOTE: If you do not have a scripting tab, click OK and skip to the last step. |

If there is anything in the white box labeled File name, remove it now.
If anything is checked, leave it checked. Click OK. |

Double click BCPL.
Make sure your username and password are entered in the appropriate boxes. NOTE: Your username is the part before the "at" (@) symbol in your email address, and should be in all lower-case letters. Now all you have to do to get connected is click Connect.
