Windows Vista Connection Guide
The following instructions and illustrations are provided to assist you in
setting up your computer to connect to BCPL.NET.
Please follow these instructions carefully and in order. These
instructions are just one way of configuring Windows Vista. If you are unable
to establish a connection after following these instructions, please call
the BCPL.NET Internet Help Desk at 410-887-3297.
Click the Windows(Start) button in the lower left-hand corner.
If you see two columns, click Control Panel.
If only one column appears, click Settings, and then click
Control Panel.
The Control Panel window should now appear. If you see the phrase
Pick a category in the window, click the Classic View link
located in the column on the left.
On the right, double click the Network and Sharing Center icon.
In the new window, click Set up a connection or network located on the left, this should open
the Connect to a Network Wizard window.

In the Choose a connection option box, click Set up a dial-up connection.
Click Next.

In the box labeled Phone Number, type
4102965500
or
*70, 4102965500
(If you have call waiting)
Type your username in the box labeled User name.
Type your password in the box labeled Password.
Type BCPL in the box labeled Connection Name.
Put a check next to Remember this password.
Put a check next to Allow other people to use this connection.
(If Windows asks for your permission, enter your Windows User name and password and click Continue.)
Click Create.

After clicking "Create" Windows will test the connection and then take you back to the Networking and Sharing Center.
Click on Manage network connections in the column on the left.

This will take you to the Network Connections window.
Right-click on the BCPL connection and then click Create Shortcut.

A message box will appear.
Click Yes to create the shortcut on your desktop.

From the desktop, double-click the BCPL icon.
You should now see a Connect BCPL window.
Click Dial.

If everything is correctly configured, you will see a window indicating
that you are connected. If you do not see this, look at the task bar near
the clock and see if there is an icon with two computer screens or a
modem: if so, you are connected. If you do not see this, double click the
BCPL icon again. It will either tell you that you are connected or prompt
you to try to connect again.
You have now established a connection with BCPL. You may now run a web
browser, e-mail
program, etc.
If you have followed these directions carefully and in order, and still
cannot establish a connection with BCPL, please call the BCPL.NET Internet
Help Desk at 410-887-3297.
