Windows CE Setup Instructions
The following instructions should help you connect to BCPL.NET with Windows CE. However, be aware that there are different versions of CE, and the version you have may not match exactly what is described below.
Setup
- Click the Start button and choose Programs.
- Select the Communications folder.
- Select the Remote Communications folder.
- Select the Make New Connection icon.
- In the Type a name for the connection box, type BCPL.
- Make sure there is a dot next to Dial-Up Connection.
- Select the Next button.
- Make sure your modem is selected under Select a modem.
- Select the TCP/IP Settings button.
- Uncheck Log on to network.
- Use software compression and Use IP header compression should both be checked.
- Select the Name Servers tab.
- Uncheck Use Server-assigned addresses.
- In the Primary DNS box, type 204.255.212.245.
- In the Secondary DNS box, type 206.66.216.8.
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Leave the Country and Area boxes blank. In the Telephone number box, type 4102965500.
- Click Finish.
