-------------------------------------------------- ACCESS SERVER REBOOT, 3:00 AM WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 3 -------------------------------------------------- All seven of the access servers used by BCPL Internet customers (dialup-1 through dialup-7) and the access server used by BCPL staff (staffdial) will be rebooted between 3:00 AM and 3:10 AM on the morning of Wednesday, December 3. If you are connected via the customer dialup number (410-296-5500) or the staff dialup number at that time, your connection will be dropped. Please wait until 3:15 AM before attempting to reconnect. Like any computer, access servers need to be rebooted occasionally in order to clear out virtual cobwebs. We find that once per month is about right for our access servers. If they go longer between reboots we begin to experience reduced connection reliability. We're sorry if this interrupts anyone's early morning Internet surfing.
