PLANNED DOWN TIME TUESDAY MAY 12

The following service interruptions are scheduled to occur during the
morning of Tuesday, May 12:

Internet Access:
--------------- 
At 8:30 AM we will bring down the connection between BCPL and the rest of
the Internet in order to reconfigure the router that controls the
connection. While the connection is down, BCPL.NET dialup customers will
be able to connect to us, but will not be able to access any resources
outside BCPL.  Full access to the Internet should be restored by about
9:00 AM. 

WOW Web Access:
--------------
"WOW Web", the Web interface to Baltimore County Public Library's catalog
and other databases, will be unavailable starting at 7:30 AM to allow
reconfiguration of the computer that serves up several of the databases.
We hope to have WOW Web back on line by about 10:00 AM.
