ABSNET NEWS SERVICE INTERRUPTION

On the morning of Friday, February 26, we will be swapping out the router
that manages traffic between BCPL.NET and ABSnet Internet Services.  The
work will be started as soon as possible after 7:30 AM, and should be
completed before 8:00 AM. The actual down time should be no more than
about fifteen minutes.

This will affect ONLY your ability to read newsgroups from the ABSnet news
server (news.abs.net).  All other traffic between BCPL.NET and the
Internet is routed through UUNET, not through ABSnet, so will not be
interrupted.
