The following online services will be shut down beginning at 9:30 PM, Thursday, May 13, and may remain unavailable until 12 Noon, Monday, May 17, 1999. o No access to BCPL Shelf Help (telephone renewals). o No access to online patron information. o No access to the BCPL online library catalog. o No access to the Community Information File. o No access to databases that require validation of BCPL library card information. o Holds/reserves cannot be placed. o Interlibrary Loan materials cannot be processed. The following online services WILL be available: o Dial-up access to BCPL.NET Internet accounts, including e-mail, Web, Usenet News, and all other normal Internet services. There may be short interruptions, but for the most part the weekend will be business as usual for BCPL.NET customers. o The BCPL.NET Internet Services Help Desk will be open normal hours. o Access to the Library Web pages (www.bcplonline.org), with the exception of Web-based databases that require a library card for access. o Access to Web pages belonging to BCPL.NET customers (www.bcpl.net/~username).
