POSSIBLE SERVICE INTERRUPTION 2:00 AM JULY 21

On Sunday 21 July at 2:00 AM Bell Atlantic will convert from analog
switching to digital switching in their Towson central office.  This will
effect most Towson exchanges, including the 296 exchange our modem pool is
on.  Anyone connected to BCPL via 296-5500 at the time will probably be
disconnected.  Bell Atlantic expects the down time to last between five
and fifteeen minutes. 
 
This will not effect telnet connections from other Internet sites, nor
will it effect connections via the local Sailor access number (494-1199).
