MAIL DELIVERY PROBLEMS AT AMERICA ONLINE

Over the past several days nearly a hundred e-mail message sent from BCPL
to addresses at America Online (aol.com) have been returned to sender with
the error message "Unable to deliver for three days".
 
This is NOT due to any problem here at BCPL.  I learned this evening (25
Jan 1995) that AOL is having serious problems with its Internet mail
gateway, and that it is nearly impossible to get Internet mail into or out
of AOL. Nobody at AOL was able to predict when the problem would be
corrected, so your best bet is probably to wait a few days and try again.
