296-5500 MODEM POOL DOWN TIME WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 28

At approximately 6:00 AM, Wednesday, February 28, Bell Atlantic will take
the 296-5500 number out of service in order to reconfigure the hunt group. 
The reconfiguration will allow additional lines to be added to the number,
which will in turn allow us to make additional modems available to our
callers.  Bell Atlantic estimates that 296-5500 will remain out of service
for about one hour, but the actual down time will depend on the difficulty 
of the reconfiguration. 

UNIX shell access via the 494-1199 modem pool will not be affected.
