This was not discovered until later in the evening when a BCPL.NET staff member was unable to log in from home. MAIL.BCPL.NET was brought back up at 9:14 PM, and we are digging through the logs to find the cause of the crash. While the MAIL.BCPL.NET was down it was impossible to make new dialup connections because your username and password could not be verified. If you were already connected you could not send or receive e-mail, Telnet or FTP to your UNIX shell account, access the BCPL.NET Web site, or access Web pages published by BCPL.NET customers. We regret the service interruption. -- BCPL.NET INTERNET SERVICES CONTACTS: ----------------------------------- Web Site: http://www.bcpl.net Administration & Policy: ispadmin@bcpl.net 410-887-6180 Sales, Renewals, Account Status: accounts@bcpl.net 410-887-4172 Technical Support (Help Desk): help@bcpl.net 410-887-3297 Usenet News Newsgroup Requests news-admin@bcpl.net 410-887-6180 E-Mail & Newsgroup Abuse Reports: abuse@bcpl.net 410-887-6180 FAX: 410-887-2091
