A new power supply will arrive on Monday, but until then we will be operating with only 828 modems instead of our normal pool of 920. Modem use on weekends is normally fairly low, so the smaller modem pool shouldn't cause any problems. However it's possible that we might have busy signal problems if bad weather makes more people than usual stay inside and on line. Let's all hope it's sunny and warm all weekend! On a more positive note, an additional access server (92 more modems) should arrive on or about November 15. This will increase our modem pool to 1012 modems, which should alleviate the busy signals we've sometimes had during peak business hours (typically from about 8:00 PM through 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday). Have a nice weekend! Chip -- BCPL.NET INTERNET SERVICES 320 York Road Towson, MD 21204-5179 U.S.A. BCPL.NET CONTACTS: see http://www.bcpl.net/contacts/
