If you missed it, see http://www.bcpl.net/news/news.2003041200.phones . Verizon was contacted and has been working on the problem, but at about 2:15 this afternoon the remaining Help Desk phone lines went dead. That is not at all the expected result! Verizon has been contacted again, and assures us that telephone service to the Help Desk will be restored as soon as possible. Unfortunately we don't know when that will be. If you need Help Desk assistance, please try the normal Help Desk number (410-887-3297) first. If someone answers, or if you are allowed to leave a message, you'll know the phone lines have been repaired. If that fails, please send your question by e-mail to help@bcpl.net. If you are unable to send e-mail, please call the Accounts Desk at 410-887-4172. Your message will be given to a Help Desk technician, who will call you back as soon as possible. Please do this only as a last resort, after trying the Help desk number or e-mail first. We regret the inconvenience, and hope Verizon will fix the problem quickly.
