While they are down you will not be able to use WebMail (webmail.bcpl.net) to access your e-mail, and you will not be able to access the Baltimore County Public Library web site (www.bcpl.info) or online catalog (carlweb.bcpl.lib.md.us), or the online kid's catalog (kcweb.bcpl.lib.md.us). This will not affect access to e-mail via Pine in your UNIX shell account or via a POP3 mail program on your computer like Outlook Express, Eudora, Entourage, Apple Mail, or similar. It also will not affect access to the BCPL.NET web site at www.bcpl.net. I apologize for the short notice, but this is our best window of opportunity for the move. Sunday December 28: BCPL.NET E-Mail, WebMail & BCPL.NET Web Site ---------------------------------------------------------------- On Sunday December 28 starting at about 8:00 AM BCPL.NET's main UNIX server (mail.bcpl.net) will be taken offline for the installation of operating system updates. The work is expected to take about 2 hours. While it is down you will not be able to access your BCPL.NET e-mail, the BCPL.NET web site (www.bcpl.net), web sites hosted for BCPL.NET customers, or your UNIX shell account.
