As of that date it will have been running continuously for 432 days. It is starting to feel the effects of the virtual cobwebs that have accumulated in all that time. MAIL.BCPL.NET should be back up no later than 8:40 AM. During the brief down time most BCPL.NET services will be unavailable: BCPL.NET Customers: ------------------ o If you are already on line when the reboot occurs you will be able to browse the Web, but that's about all. o You will not be able to make new modem connections to BCPL.NET o You will not be able to send or receive e-mail. o You will not be able to access the BCPL.NET Web site (www.bcpl.net). o You will not be able to access your personal Web site. o You will not be able to log into your UNIX shell account. We recommend that you not try to use your BCPL.NET account at all between 8:30 AM and 8:40 AM on Friday.
