It will be several days before spam and virus blocking reaches the level of effectiveness attained by our original Barracuda, but already we have seen a dramatic reduction in spam and virus e-mail. The worst is over. The six days we have been without spam and virus protection were an unpleasant reminder of what things were like before we installed the original Barracuda last January. I don't think any of us want to go back to those bad old days. Six past days without the Barracuda were six days too many.
