We will make every effort to have it back on line no later than 4:00 AM, but we cannot guarantee an exact time due to the nature of the work to be done. You will not be able to do the following while MAIL.BCPL.NET is down: o Make new dialup connections to BCPL.NET. o Send or receive BCPL.NET e-mail. o Access any Web pages hosted on mail.bcpl.net. o Log into your UNIX shell account. o FTP files to or from mail.bcpl.net. If you already have a dialup connection prior to 2:00 AM you will not be disconnected at 2:00 AM. You will be able to use the connection for browsing remote Web sites, but will not have access to any of the services listed above. If you lose your connection, you will not be able to establish a new one until MAIL.BCPL.NET comes back up. Our apologies to the night owls among you for the interruption in service, but the 2:00 AM - 4:00 AM time frame was chosen as least likely to interrupt most customers' Internet use.
