This is the view from the balcony of our hotel room in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. It's about 4 hours southwest of Tucson on the Gulf of California. |

Heres the same view just after the sun went down. There are mountains on the Baja peninsula across the water but you can't see them in the day. They only show up when the sun is behind them. They're not easy to see in this pciture but they're there. |

This is a view of coral and tide pools at low tide. There were lots of sea shells and some sort of seaweed that spit at you when it dried in the sun at low tide. |

Here we are at the rest stop. This is supposed to be the hottest place on the North American Continent. It was 80 degrees there in February. It must get cold at night or NOBODY would use that grill. |
