(5) and Susanna Veazey Ward, and grandson of first William
(2) Ward.
Born March 31, 1730 (copy of St. Stephens Register at Maryland Historical Society page 99). His father devised to him the tract called "Locust Thicket" just opposite St. Stephens Church.

He is understood to have been the Ward who was one of the Delegates from Cecil County in the General Assembly of 1777, 1778, 1779, and 1780.
He married Elizabeth Wilson, daughter of
Colonel Robert Wilson of Kent Island.
He died May 1734.

Joshua Ward (52), born July 31, 1769
George Ward (84), born April 19, 1778. George Ward removed to that part of Virginia which finally became Kentucky. George Ward married Arietta, eldest daughter of William Jessop, February 1806. [I have much more information on the descendants of George and Arietta.] He married second Linda Munsell of Ohio. He lived in Madison, afterwards at Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Canton, Mississippi in 1852. George Ward, son of John, died at Canton Mississippi, Sept 1852, in his 77th year.
Deborah Ward (102), born January 15, 1781; married Dr. Ayres and died without children in 1844.
