Immanuel Episcopal ChurchAeneas Ross was ordained by the Bishop of London and was Rector in charge of Christ Church Philadelphia. Finally he was Rector of Immanuel Episcopal Church in New Castle, Delaware.

He had other children whose names are not given. It has been claimed that John Ross who married Elizabeth Griscom was his son, although it seems to lack proof of any kind. This Elizabeth Griscom was known as Betsy Ross who made the first American flag. She was an upholsteress living in a humble condition of life. Further information is necessary to qualify any claim of relationship or connection with Ross of New Castle by Miss Betsy Ross.

Died 1782. Aeneas was buried with his father inside the church at New Castle.
