If you will not be able to access your system for awhile, do not want your e-mailbox to fill up with postings from the Hounds and would rather not unsubscribe (SIGNOFF) and then resubscribe (SUBSCRIBE), you can turn off receiving the list by using the command:
SET MAIL/NOMAIL -- go on vacation and resume reception by sending the command:
SET HOUNDS-L NOMAIL NOTE -- The NOMAIL option is only meant to be used for a temporary cessation of mail. Subscriptions which appear to be permanently set to nomail will be terminated. return to list of commands return to Hounds of the Internet return to Sherlockian Connection
