ADMISSION:
Adult admission: $6, children 6 to 11: $3, children under 6 are admitted free. Rides are
not included. Rides are individually priced.
RIDES: Tickets may be
purchased at the Midway Ride Ticket Booths. Tickets
are $TBA each and each ride uses approximately TBA rides tickets. RIDE DISCOUNT
TICKET SHEETS are also available at ride ticket booths: TBA ride
tickets for $TBA.
RIDE SPECIALS:
ADVANCE TICKET DISCOUNTS: Discounts on
adult admission, child admission, ride and food coupons. Must be purchased
no later then Friday, August 15th, 2008 and $100 minimum order required. Information
will be available soon!

TIMONIUM RACETRACK:
The price of admission
to the Maryland State Fair includes admission to the racetrack. Live Thoroughbred Horse Racing will be held on TBA. In addition, Timonium will simulcast races all days (except
TBA), of the Maryland State
Fair, from a variety of other
tracks around the country.
HOURS:
Livestock and Horse Shows: Open 9am to 10 pm
Demonstration and Exhibit Halls: Open 10am to 10 pm
Midway Hours:
Open 10 am (weekends)
Open 12 noon (weekdays)
PARKING: Limited parking is available on
the Fairgrounds for a minimal fee. Free parking is available at the Park and Ride location on Deereco Road
west of the Fairgrounds. Parking on the Fairgrounds is available for a minimal fee.
Parking is
available on a first-come, first-served basis. Because
convenient parking is limited we encourage the use of the Light Rail.
PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION: There is a Light Rail stop opposite the entrance to the
Fairgrounds near the Cow Palace. Because
convenient parking is limited, use
of the light rail is encouraged. The
last Light Rail trains will leave Timonium at 11PM each evening of the 2008
fair. Bus service is also available beginning at the University
Hospital in Baltimore, through Towson, to Timonium via Bus Number 8. For
